Wait...What are Green Apple Loops?

Other than just being green and loopy like our uncle Louis, Green Apple Loops are known as Software Instrument Apple Loops (SIALs).

Not Your Average Midi File

They differ from the blue (audio) Apple Loops in that they also contain a MIDI region plus software instrument and effect settings. When a Green Apple Loop is dragged from the loop browser and placed in the arrange page, the Green Apple Loop region can be edited just like other MIDI regions, including individual note editing.

So it's like editing the notes of audio regions?

Yes! If dragged onto a blank instrument track (one with an empty channel strip), the corresponding instrument, effect(s) settings and Midi can all be edited!

So why Green Apple Loops? Well, other than the obvious ability to edit the midi portion of the loop however you wish, Green Apple Loops are far better than just Midi or Samples in that you can literally see the way the loop was created by viewing the custom channel strip settings we used.If you've ever bought a sample and wondered how they got it to sound the way they did, well, now you can see how.

Spend Hours Being a Librarian Producer

The other benefit of the Downloading our Green Apple Loops is that now you when you change the scale of your song using the key signature in global settings, all of the green loops will change with it. This means if our Green Apple Loop is in the scale of G Sharp Minor, but your song is in F minor, our loop will change to fit your key automatically. We've done all the work to add the scale information to each and everyone of our loops so you can spend time being creative!

NOTE: These will only work with Apple's Software "Logic." All other DAWs will render the file as audio.
